On Saturday, September 10, 2023 was celebrated on the Hofgut Georgenthal estate - 10 years exists the golf course located directly on the Limes in the Untertaunus, which could well be in England and Scotland by its distinctive golf course in the "links course design from the pen of golf course architect Christan Althaus. "This gives us a unique selling point," says golf manager Jens Kloeren, underlining the amphitheater ambience.

Now the Hankammer family celebrated the tenth anniversary of the golf course. Already at 9:00 a.m. the anniversary golf tournament started on the completely booked golf course. Parallel to this, an entertaining supporting program with golf taster courses, but also other activities, such as boules, beach volleyball or even a Roman hike or nature tour, was offered to all those interested in getting closer to the sport of golf. During this "Open Day", the historic courtyard of the estate was transformed into a lively marketplace with various stalls and demonstrations, as well as live music with the group "The Swindlers" and with Rick Chayenne. A great party where members, friends, customers and business partners celebrated together and enjoyed an exciting and memorable day.

The two hosts, Brita and Rajani Hankammer, were delighted with the exceptionally high number of visitors and the numerous words of greeting from the Hessian Minister of the Interior and Sports, Peter Beuth, the District Administrator of the Rheingau-Taunus district, Sandro Zehner, and the Mayor of the municipality of Hohenstein, Daniel Bauer, who all personally delivered their congratulations on the spot.

Brilliant award: Hofgut Georgenthal receives 5-star seal of approval of the international golf course classification!

On this special day, Hofgut Georgenthal was also awarded by the Bundesverband Golfanlagen e.V. in the 5-star category - the highest rating level in the international golf course classification! BVGA board member, Thomas Hasak, personally presented the corresponding insignia, consisting of a certificate of honor and the official classification plate, to Brita Hankammer and Jens Kloeren.

Brita Hankammer expressed her joy at this special moment as follows: "We are proud to have been able to demonstrate our commitment to excellence and quality. This award fills us with joy and is a tribute to the dedicated team at Hofgut Georgenthal.
