In a reader survey conducted by the Connoisseur Circle editorial team and TrustYou, asking for the best hotels, our partner hotel, Schlosshotel Münchhausen, took 1st place in the category of castle hotels.

Restored from top to bottom in 2004, the 16th-century castle lovingly combines the comforts of modernity with the antiques of history. With 68 luxurious suites and rooms, three restaurants ranging from the gourmet restaurant to the rustic castle cellar, a bar with conservatory ambience, twelve function rooms and a spacious wellness area, all senses are addressed.

The gourmet restaurant, under the direction of Achim Schwekendiek, has received a Michelin star every year without interruption since its opening in 2004. Here the "Haute Cuisine à la Française" with Mediterranean intermediate tones is celebrated, an experience for all gourmets.
